Getting A Degree With Online Classes

There are various institutions that offer online classes.  As a bartender this is highly beneficial to you, since like most bartenders, you probably keep very odd hours.  Since most bartenders work primarily at night and don't work every night you may find yourself awake at 2am on a Monday night with nothing to do.  Why not do something productive with that time. 

If you plan to bartend forever than a degree may not be of any importance to you but you will probably feel differently when you get to an age where bartending is just not as much fun anymore.  You may also reach an age where you find that employers dont want to hire you anymore regardless of your skill.  Getting an online degree is a good idea when your young so that when your done bartending you are all ready to move on to the next phase of your life.  Its either move on or move back in with your parents.

Even if you don't have a specific degree that you want to pursue, its always a good time to start getting some of your general classes out of the way. 

The bottom line is that, while you're a bartender you'll probably have the time of your life.  Make sure its a productive time as well and that you properly prepare yourself of when that time is no more.  If physically attending classes does not fit into your schedule, and that's your excuse for not going to school, online classes are the answer.
