Brandy \ Cognac

       Brandy is simply distilled wine.  It is generally made from grape wine and is usually 80 to 100 proof. 

       Cognac is brandy that comes from the Congac region of France.  It is twice distilled.  All congac is brandy.  All brandy is not congac.
